Tu Hi Re marks the return of veteran actress Supriya Pathare after a gap of almost three years. In Tu Hi Re she plays a lawyer whereas Supriya Pathare portrays a single girl who wants to get married but comes back to her family after being estranged for years due to her husband's ill health. They both try to mend the broken relationships in their family and end up finding themselves. The film is a must see for those who don't mind a little boredom as the film is a simple one. This will be a good change from those masala movies which are full of violence, dance steps and comedy tracks. The movie definitely captures the essence of Marathi families as it has been shot in Pune and Konkan as well as Mumbai itself.
